The Student Research Group "Momencik" at the Department of Structural Mechanics (K-64) of the Faculty of Civil, Architecture and Environmental Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology was established on the initiative of D.Sc. Eng. Artur Wirowski. Officially, we have been operating since February 2010, but unofficially since October 2009.
The main goals of the SRG are to enable its members to gain the experience and prepare for professional work.
We are looking for people who have a non-standard approach to science and learning. Those who want to discover with us those branches of science that are not covered during classes, as well as to expand their knowledge necessary in the work of a future construction engineer, are welcomed. We are willing to cooperate with other SRG of a similar profile, as well as institutions interested in our profile of activity.
